Kam kar ke kisko kya mila hain? Kam ko angutha dikha ke jada maja mila hain!!!!

Today before leaving office for the day, I met my friend, Navneet. He asked me why I didn’t post any blog for so long time. I should post at least one blog in a month. Then I realized that though I have created the blog keeping in mind writing many blogs but I didn’t do my work till after creating the blog. Not doing our own work makes us feel comfortable. But how long? Will we be able to be in comfort-zone for long time with out completing our work?

I want to tell you about two incidents I noticed during my staying in China.
The first one is about one old Chinese woman who used to clean the apartment complex where I used to live. That lady used to clean the apartment complex everyday morning.
The morning I’m talking about was raining heavily. I was very much impatient as I had to finish some important work and I was getting late for the office. When rain-fall started becoming slow, I went out for the office and then surprisingly I found that that lady was cleaning the complex wearing a raincoat…!!! I was completely socked. Because I could have also went to office with an umbrella but I didn’t go just by giving an false excuse to myself that I would be wet though if I would use an umbrella. Thus I avoided my work and put myself in comfort in keeping away from getting wet. Just for your information, that day I had to work till late night and had to miss a dinner with my Chinese friends.

The second one is about one Chinese traffic police office I used to see him standing on my way to city center. He used to stand in a junction parallel to our road and there used to have very less traffic. Easily he could have taken some rest when there were less traffic or no traffic. But I always saw him still standing there even though there was no traffic on that road. In India, you can always find a traffic police standing beside the road and taking rest even when there is much traffic.

The next incident I’m going to talk, is about my own friends and still I couldn’t find a single reason for their such strange behavior. In our offices in China there is a rule to shutdown our PC everyday before leaving office for the day. If you don’t then you will have to pay fine for that. My friends who went to China used to follow the rule strictly there. But when those friends came back from China then they didn’t think once to follow the same rule here. If every IT companies in India start following this rule then how much power will be saved, Dr.Kalam has given a rough calculation about that. But still those fellow friends couldn’t realize the need of it. I read a beautiful line in one of my friends’s blog(http://inavneet.blogspot.com/)

This is our duty to make this world better and I feel we are running away from it.

In our team, many times when we go for finding root cause of getting so many defects in a released version, we find that we didn’t do our work very well. May be we can show finger to tight schedule of the project. But tight schedule doesn’t say us to give release of the product without completing our work. Either we have to learn to finish our work in a tight schedule or we have to ask for more time to get finish our work properly. But at any cost we shouldn’t leave our work unfinished.

Without doing your own work you can’t feel comfortable for long time. If you don’t do your work today, you may feel comfortable today. But may be tomorrow or may be after sometime you will surely feel uncomfortable for not doing your work on time. Sometime not only feel uncomfortable but also somebody else or may be your closed one needs to pay for it. So, please think twice before leaving your work for somebody else to do later..!! Don’t leave your work unfinished so that it will be impossible to recover the damage you bring to yourself or someone else.

My first blog is about starting writing Blog....!!!!
I have seen many of my friends write blog. Though I couldn’t feel hungry of writing blog. Because, I was not able to give a very good reason of using this so precise web-resource of “Google”. Now I feel that I have found some reason…write blog to criticize U….yes U only…..!!! What is your opinion about criticism? I have habit of pointing out bad qualities or weakness of my friends. One of my best friend always says me that I have never seen anything good in her. But I always say that I have seen many good qualities of her but found only these few bad qualities. So, I want to point out those to make her more perfect in this competitive world. That’s my view of criticism. I feel that you will find many to praise you falsely. But you will find very less to criticize you truly. I wish I would be able to be one of those few true critics of you. But why today…!! few recent incidents forced me to think of criticizing the work of media, Govt., some program in popular TV channel forced me to think of criticizing their program. Soon you will see my view about them as my blog post.
